Hi all -
I just took the practice TEAS exam at the ATI web-site. It was a package deal when I bought the new study guide. I really can't believe that my test will be as easy as that. Has anyone else taken it and also the official one? If so, how do you feel they compared?
I am thinking of taking my official one on Friday. I will definitely post with my results :)
Thanks in advance for any input!
Here's some easy stuff to brush up on (and will really get you if you don't):
Know your metric system equivalents - 2.54cm to 1 inch, how many kilograms in a pound, etc.
Know how many cups in a pint, pints in a quart, quarts in a gallon
Know your punctuation - colons, semicolons, comma usages etc.

:bowingpur Thank you Landshark...Believe it or not, I was sitting here practicing metric/english conversions when I got the email about your reply I have the pint/quart/gallon thing down pretty tight. The thing that frightens me is percentages for some reason. Not basic stuff, but percent increases/decreases. I am practicing those right now. I have found a few sites that have practice for the grammar/punctuation and have been hitting them hard. I hope that I will be happily posting tomorrow afternoon that I breezed like you :) If not, I have one more chance to take it.
Unfortunately, our test is used as admission criteria. You have all these pre-reqs you take and then this test and they assign everything a point value. Currently I have the most points I can get because I have A's in all my pre-reqs. However, the TEAS score is used to decide between candidates with matching points - whoever gets the higher teas points gets in...no pressure or anything
Anyway, thank you again for the encouragement and the heads-up! I appreciate it!!

Hey everyone!Tomorrow is the big day for me too! I was feeling pretty good about it until I read about the conversions. I completely forgot about that stuff. Anyways . . . Good luck Stdy2BaNurse!!!
Good luck to you, too, Mandee. You will be fine. Be sure and post when you get done!!

Okay - so in your honest opinion it wasn't that bad. What about the science portion? I was really freaked about the Math and now that I feel I have a good handle on all that, the Science is scaring me! I go take it in the morning and I have been studying like a fiend! I've looked things up on the web that are in the study guide & that I have never been exposed to before. I have had many people say that the study guide is way harder than the test.
Congratulations and good luck in school!
