I took my NCLEX today and it was about 100 times harder than I expected. I had taken a review course, used multiple NCLEX books to study, done thousands of questions, passed my exit HESI with a 1250, and had a 4.0 in NS. Yet NCLEX threw questions at me that had my head spinning. I think I had about 40% SATA. I didn't have any math, which was unfortunate because I consider those easy. The computer shut off at 75 questions and I got the good pop-up an hour & half later. I hope I passed, it was hard!

Usually a lot of SATA questions is a good sign
(from these boards & from people i know that have taken the nclex this summer)

Yea, I felt the same way Friday when I took my test. I was sure I failed! But I got the good pop up that night and found I passed 48 hours later :)

It's supposed to be hard. If you are getting questions right, the computer gives you more difficult questions until you start getting them wrong. The only way it would be easy is if: 1. You know everything or 2. The computer malfunctions.

Good luck with your official results.
I passed! Unfortunately the BON "lost" my application and I have to send in another before I get my license number, but that will be easy compared to the stress of that NCLEX. And the PVT trick was correct!
