Hello,, as I mentioned,, I took it for the 4th time, I got to a desperate situation,, trust me you will be fine,, as long as you follow some key steps and strategies to help you get there,, my previous attempts, I was using too much time with questions,, and adding info,, and of course I did hard questions which prepared me as well,, also,, I can't stress this enough,, remain positive, positive energy will do magics,, regroup,, see where you lack, and see a tutor if you can,, to assess your needs,, then follow a schedule,, another key, time management,, trust me,, works like magic,, do certain amounts of questions per day,, take your time,, and read the rationals,, do ncsbn if you haven't done so,, also Kaplan is very helpful,, the more questions you answer the more confident you get,, then aim at getting a good avg, 75 for ncsbn,, and for Kaplan, I believe around 60 percent,, always make your self feel stronger and tougher than is test,, you will get there,, I was in your situation,, you may email me at my personal email for more [email protected],,, I can send you some tips about strategies,,

You need to choose the best nursing answer from the choices & with the information available. Don't add stuff or guess things that aren't given to you.

I'm getting 50-60% on ncsbn and 60+ percent on kaplan and 60-70% in mary hogan q and a.what do you think guys, what are my chances on passing nclex rn this time?

Congratulations. Im going to email you.

You can still pass,, I really think that it matters a lot doing the strategy and reading the question carefully,, follow the following steps,, from my personal experience,

1. Read the question very carefully, pay attention to keywords,, ex. Childs age,, toddler, preschoolers,, etc,, preop, how long,, or postop,, ,, and then pay attention to what they are asking,, the stem,,

2. Red answer choices carefully, you will automatically have your gut on one question,, read other choices while you eliminate if possible,,

3. Go back to the question,, and read again, if you need more clarification,, then if you see that the first answer you picked is verifiable or no other answer beats it, z then go for the first one,,

4. Remember,, every question is priority,, when they say most important,, they are saying there is one thing you have to so,, so think physical needs and ABC,

5. Please do not spend more than 1.5 min per question or even less unless you get sata question,, the n you can spend a little more,, but learn to be time efficient as it will eliminate errors

6. Do not add info,, and make assumptions,, work with what you have only,, I used to Make this mistake a lot

7. Be strong,, remain positive and focused,, remember you are going to beat this test,, which was made by humans not alians

Best wishes

Thanks for the helpful insight and congrats on passing the beast they call nclex! I have to retake the nclex at the end of the month and although I am studying my tail off theres still thoughts of hoping I dont fail this go round. Seeing posts like yours makes me happy to see that others who have been knocked down from this test got back up and passed.
