Well, I took the NCLEX today and I don't know how to feel. My test stopped at around 80. I had all kind of ?s...SATA, priority, delegation, teaching, infection control, math, you name it i had it! I came out with i guess you could say blank emotion. I wasn't sure I failed, but I don't know if I passesd? I PRAY that I passed, I put all my faith in God!!! I can't wait for all this to be over so I can have a normal life. Good Luck to all of you that have taken the exam as well!!! I hope to post that I passed on Thursday!!! Patiently waiting. :uhoh21:

Best of luck to you and take the time for yourself these next two days; you deserve it.
And do keep us posted. What you are going thru is quite typical for most.

Well, good luck, I think a lot of us feel the same when we take our test. Remember most people pass the test the first time around.
Keep praying:bowingpur, and you will see your name on your BON

I took the NCLEX on Monday and I'm in the same boat. I keep checking the CA BON website to see if my name is there. My test cut off at 75 questions. Which to me seems crazy because 15 of those are "pre-test" and aren't used to calculate your ability. That leaves only 60 questions that I was "graded" on.
Last years first time American -educated pass rate was close to 90%. I was going over the statistics of the NCLEX last night and it seems to me that if the test cuts off early--you have a slightly better that average chance of passing. That doesn't mean you can't fail but the way the test is arranged, if you were doing poorly on some of the questions (keep in mind that you are only expected to get about 50% right anyway) then yoiu likely would have been given more questions because the computer would need more time to figure out your ability.
To fail and cut off at 75-80-100 questions you would have to consistently be answering below passing ability on more than half the questions. Of course, as we know---the questions are crazy! Some I had no idea about.
How long do I have to wait, I'm driving my husband crazy. I just want to finallly say that I'm a NURSE! I keep saying "almost nurse".

I hope that you passed and you are right have faith in God for he will see you and all of us through. How can you not be supportive of individuals who only want to do good and do for others.. It is the most selfless act there is. GOOD LUCk!

I took my NCLEX Feb 13th also and it shut off at 75---I had a pretty big variety of questions also like you. I thought that if I got 75 that I would have a good idea if i passed or not...but i seriously have no clue at all. I know of ones that I definitely missed but I do feel like my questions were pretty hard. I don't know but good luck i feel exactly how u do!!
i failed!
