Took NCLEX-RN on October 9, 2013 in California

Hey guys, I took my NCLEX on Wednesday October 9, 2013 in California. Southern California to be exact, and I did the Pearson Vue Trick and I got the good pop up.

I wanted to ask if anyone else took it on October 9 in California as well, or between October 3-9 and see their name on the Board for license look up. I am sad that I didn't see my name when I checked earlier this morning. I know some people are in a similar position because the BRN is changing their lookup over to breEZe. Just want the clarification that I am a RN...if the trick holds true. Any kind words would help haha, I just want to know that I passed for sure!

Hi there! I just tested October 09th in so cal as well.

Same as you, good pop-up. The reason you don't see your license info is because of the new switch to the Breeze system. It definitely is having some delays. I called brn today and was told that we will get a certificate in the mail 5-7 business days after testing which has our permanent license # on it that we can use to look for work.

There is another thread here on the nclex forum that talks about any new news/updates happening for those of us who have recently tested in ca.

im in Norcal and took my test on Oct 3 with the good popup, they're still updating everything from Pearson during that 6 day upgrade so it'll be a while :( i checked breeze right now and its down till 9 tonight.

I'm in same boat, tested oct 3 good pop up and still nothing. I called the BRN today and they still have no idea what's going on. My school called as well, one person said its because of govt shutdown (wrong) and another saying they are working out glitches of the new system. I believe you receive your license 5-7 days after it's been posted online. Im so over them, lost my application twice and now this. Lord give me patience lol.

lol kelly, the day we took our test is the day they decided to schedule the upgrade. I really hope we get our licenses soon! i keep checking the pvt to make sure i still get the good popup and its driving me insane.

I took my NCLEX in Socal on Tues Oct 8, continue to get the good pop up, but still nothing on the "new" breEZe website. SOO frustrating, im starting to feel like this whole PVT thing is not as reliable, but that's just me being anxious /: My friend took her nclex on 10/2 waited 8 days and her name & license# was up by 10/10. i just love their timing on this, i'm about to go mad. please let me know if anyone recieves any updates/results soon!

The PVT is pretty reliable!! I would say that I have never heard of anyone getting the popup and not passing the NCLEX :) When I got licensed in Illinois it took me 4 months to get my license but the PVT had the good popup. I'm now endorsing to CALI and have yet to even have my application processed with their new BREEZE system. Let us all know when you get your licenses in the mail, I feel like this new BREEZE system is actually slowing things down.

Hi. I took my NCLEX-RN October 9, 2013, here in California. Breeze hasn't updated, but.........

I just registered for the Breeze account, and they had me verify my ID and gave me a number. I hope I'm not wrong, but I believe this is my license number.

I also did the PVT Pearson Vue Trick with good pop up this far.

@EmmaWeiss, I don't think that number has anything to do with your license. I did the same thing and have an organization/individual number but under license/registration type there is "Registered Nurse-RN Interim Permit" and I have my intermit permit number pop up there.

So, I feel like if it was a RN license number it would have a different number than that organization/individual number as well.

It might be best if we all just wait it out. I feel as though we will hear from snail mail before any updates on BreEZe.

That is NOT your IP #. The IPs are 6 digit #s. I have both an IP # and an "Indiv/Org" Number as well. My individual # is different than IP #. Idk if that is our license # or just our user #

I'm also thinking that we might hear from our mailbox first. One thing I am surprised at is how calm I have managed to keep given the situation lol. That PVT is keeping me as sane as I can be right now. Just making a list of jobs I wanna apply to once we get our license #s, make me feel like I'm doing something productive lol.
