it was ok, i felt that the questions weren't as detailed as the practice questions from saunders or lipincott, got a lot of "select all that apply" questions but, not a single calculation question or at least some acid-base balance questions, which im probably an expert now. stoped at 85, and now the grueling california waiting game begins aghhhhhhhh:angryfire, im going crazy as in 5150

i took my nclex last thursday...in cali and i'm dying to find out. i can't eat, or sleep, or even enjoy time off work. my test shut off at 110 and by then i was in tears. the few people i know from my class that passed shut off at 85. i've tried everything i know how to do to find out, and nothing. any suggestions?

i just took my pn-nclex this morning and i am so glad its over. my test shut off at about 90+ questions and i was in total disbelief:bugeyes:. i didn't get any calculation ? or ob. there were a bunch of priority and delegation. i just am at a lost now. in school and preparing for this test your life and everything is just a wreck and now the wait time and not knowing doesn't help.

how many 'select alls' did you get? i am hearing that they are increasing the amount of them these days. when i took mine in 2006, i had about 7-8 in a row. had one calculations question (the first one), and one electrolyte question on sodium (like you, i knew that one like the back of my hand, i went over them so much). most of my questions focused on neuro and digestive questions. maybe one psych and one cheap shot pediatric question. wishing you the best of luck, especially with the waiting...that seems to be the worst.

i dont remember the exact number of select all that apply but, i had a lot of them in a row too aghhhh and im still waiting haha, oh and i had a lot of questions on culture, which was ok cause i knew most of the stuff about the different cultures, except when the questions got really detailed about the Jewish faith i almost had a break down haha
mother of 2, i dont think that its a certainty that if the computer shuts off at 85 your granteed to pass, but, at 110 i have no clue sorry but, i guess we all have to say to ourselves that we tried our best and studyed like hell for this test :typing

I know of a girl who passed with 110 she said and I just got off the phone with another former classmate who passed with 202, she has been a wreck all week.
Adaptive testing was always good on Microsoft Exams, it really tested your knowledge so I have to assume it works well here to.
Lastly one of my questions was so obscure I was looking for an answer that read, "So the priest says to the rabbi, did you see the guy in the monkey suit eating the banana?" It is what it is people, we passed school, we studied hard, we gave it our best shot. Have confidence in your skills.
I used to teach SCUBA, Rule 1: Stop, Breathe, Think. The same applies here.
