My original date for my nclex was supposed to be on July 30th but I end up rescheduling to August 29th and thankful I didn't reschedule again. I am glad I took it and got it over with!!! I took about 4hrs on the exam and finished all 205 questions! I was hoping it was going to shut off at 85 ...but it didn't. I kept going and praying to not give up and kept telling myself

"its okay, don't give up, try your best... If you fail at least you can walk out of here and knowing you did your best and didn't give up. At least you stay focused!" I didn't take any breaks, I just wanted to finish this exam and go home. I kept praying and praying to Jehovah God to keep me focused and just keep going!

Every 2hrs the screen would turn blue and I would get excited and thinking it was over.... No! It's still loading and then it popped up this notice asking if I want to take a break- NO, thank you! Continued on!

In the end I walked out from the testing office and it took my twin and I 40min or so to figure out my login and password for the Pearson vue ... I given up and just told her I failed ...lets just go home!! My twin didn't give up and she completed all the steps for me on Pearson and I got the good pop up!!! Lol I passed! But still I want them results!! California don't do the fast results and etc. THANK YOU JEHOVAH!!!!

I only study exam cram (1000 questions only) during the last week before my exam. Do the CD studymode questions, they are the same questions from the book... But I recommended to do the cd because nclex is a computer test and its a nice way to prep yourself. Read all the rationales. I did this 3 or 4x til I fully understand the materials/book and scored above 85 percent.

I Download this nclex flashcard pn on my samsung s3 that costed $10 but now it's on sell for $8. Its 350 questions! I noticed the rationales and questions are similar to the nclex. This flashcard have a lot of SATA questions which helped. You can also buy it at Barnes and nobles too.

These are the only 2 study materials I used. I read couple of chapters of Saunders like 2 months ago and brushed up couple of judy miller's power points pages the night before the exam but I realized ain't no one got time for that ... So I just did questions of fm exam cram and flashcards. My advice is do as many questions as you can!!!!!! Read all the rationales, even tho you got the answer right, just read them rationales!!!!

I got alot of the drag in boxes.... All of them are regarding about procedures. So study them procedures like how to administer eye drops to an infant or child, NG tubes, foley, etc. remember its all about keeping your patient safe and breathing. You gonna get those questions about which patient to go see first... Apply your ABC. All the questions I have ...there was no airway issues.. Soo find the circulation if no circulation apply Maslow! Got a lot of SATA, one of the SATA I remember was about high risk falls.. Like leaving a night light on, no cutters, call light in reach etc, and child safety regarding about risk for poisons. Know your scope of practice and CNA... Got some of those delegations. But then again, you will get different exams.

Congrats and thank you for the info.

Hi! Congrats! What is the nclex PN app called that u downloaded on ur phone?!

Congrats! and thank you for sharing your nclex journey :)

Hey I take my exam 9/12 and I am terrified.I also have exam cram are those questions like nclex?

All the exams are different. One of my friend who took the nclex before me got "very similar questions" and she quote its was "freaking" so she was fortunate. When I studied the exam cram there was drugs, rationales, diseases I saw on the nclex. For the flashcard I got on the android app under books "nclex pn national council licensure examination for practical nurses" it's a flashcard in a book that check for your readiness! I notice a lot of questions, RATIONALES and SATA I saw on the exam that helped me pin point and eliminate answers choices quickly on the nclex. Practice as many questions!!! You will come to stuff you won't know on the nclex... Don't just guess, break down the terminology ...it will at least give u at least some kind of idea. Do your best, don't get discourage if the computer didn't shut off at 85! Every EXAMS are different some will required u to finish and all you can do is not give up, take a deep breath, don't just go and start clicking answers because your just over it and giving up.. You want to walk out fm the testing center knowing at least you did your best!!!!

It's flashcards in a book. Is only available through the android apps. You can purchase at Barnes and nobles too. I saw some... Just to get the right one the first question is the one with mr. Thomas tripped and fell etc and one of the choices is fracture, branched, edematous and bruised. Remember every exams are different and its great to review and do as many questions you can!!! Shoot I only read the first 9 chapters in Saunders and the those chapters I cover is fundamental like cultures, labs, the last chapter I stopped at was OB ...I was over it and just did questions and apply
