Too soon to leave?

Is it too soon to leave a job as a new nurse on good terms after 8 months if you give them two weeks notice? My reason for leaving on the application is that I want more clinical experience, as I am going from AL TO SNF

Find another job then tell them you will stay Contingent. Then you could still count them as a year experience. You could also just accept a new job and give them the notice you are able to give. When you decide to apply for your 3rd nursing position, you could easily explain away the first. It doesn't sound like you would want to return to this job after leaving anyway...
