Told I had to retake a class and now told I don’t

Hello

so I was accepted into an Lpn program a few days ago. I’m glad I was, but kinda pissed about one thing. When I applied, My anatomy 1 class was almost expired. I was told by a nursing admissions associate (someone who answers questions about the nursing program) that in order to be accepted I would need to take a and p 1 over again. And I had a few months to do so until the nursing application priority deadline and a few months more until the regular deadline. There were two deadlines, a priority deadline and a regular deadline. I asked about being accepted in general to the program. Well I applied anyways before the priority deadline and got accepted. So I emailed the nursing admissions associate and said I was confused because I was told by her I wouldn’t be accepted unless I complete this class. She wrote back and told mE that it was ultimately up to the nursing department. I want to write back to her and ask her that she have the school reimburse me for this class that cost me $792 through portage. And say that if she had any doubts or questions about classes that may expire close to the application deadline that she should have asked the nursing department first. She could have told me about my OPTIONS and told me that I could have waited until The priority deadline passed and wait to hear if I got accepted or not for that deadline, and then decide whether or not to take this class over again or not at that point. Because then I would have the regular deadline coming up after that, and would have had time to still complete the anatomy class before the regular Deadline. But I also know that if you make waves in these nursing programs you can stick out like a sore thumb for the rest of your time at the school. I don’t want to get off on the wrong foot before even starting. But this isn’t my fault either. What do you think ?

by the way I haven’t got an acceptance letter in the mail, just via email. Not sure if that matters with all this

Grades from A and P are positively correlated with doing well on NCLEX as well as the student benefiting from the recent review of information to apply to the current class content. I truly am sorry you did have to pay the $$ when you didn't have to. On the bright side, when you want to go onto the RN program, you will be current on your first semester of A & P.
