Hello all,
I want to seriously change my test date from end of March to beginning of April-I am not ready-and also very scared! :bowingpur
Anyone in the same boat or has any thoughts on the matter? Thank you!
It is for NCLEX-RN-are they making the boards a bit harder starting in april?

If I am correct I believe they made the changes to Nclex Rn last April. So this year it would be Nclex PN that will be changing.
As far as moving your date--when did you graduate?
Are you doing 100 practice questions a day with an 80% or better score?
My teachers always told us that was the key to passing boards. Do that for a month and you will be fine.
So far it has worked for my graduating class.
I passed Nclex with 75quesitons in 45 minutes. I felt like I was at home taking a practice test.

Did you use Kaplan or Saunders? :)
My favorite disk was Davis. I also used Saunders and Mosbys. I did read the Kaplans book and take their 265 question test in the book. I did not purchase the test bank.
I did more than 100 questions a day, I did thousands in the course of 3 weeks. I only wanted to take Nclex once and I didnt want to have the thoughts of "gee I wish I would have studied more".
Doing questions at home is free. Do as many as you can fit it each day.

you'll probably never feel 100% ready for the NCLEX. As mentioned above, you should assess your scores if you have been practicing questions. Find out what your scores should be by searching through this website or posting a thread to compare your scores with others who used the same source. If you are using Kaplan...scores in the high 50's-60's are good. If you are using Saunders, you should try to score in the 70's-80's. Hope this helps.
Good luck!
I am using a few different sources and I graduated in January.
It's taking me a long time to get the content down, but I am trying.
Thank you to all of you who replied.
