Has anyone used the TN Visa Expert kit for the TN visa - I'm a Canadian RN with a job offer from the USA...
good luck trying to get someone to speak to when i was in the same situation trying to find answers i couldnt get a hold of anyone to speak to about the situation.
i also curious why did you decide to do your schooling in the states? were you living there @ the time? what state did you write your NCLEX for?
You are a foreign nurse as you are not a U.S. Citizen.@JustBeachyNurse So I talked with a CBP officer about this and read through the links you gave me - as a Canadian educated at a Comm Coll in the USA, I am eleigible for a TN visa - which requires a state license, since I already have that - I am able to work in the USA because of the NAFTA agreement.
Apparently the RN category is one of the ones that does not require a Bachelors - on the NAFTA agreement it states you need a Bachelors OR a state license. Not both.
well thats good to hear well i paid the extra $$ to get it reviewed and sent withing 5 days because i heard to many horror story's of it taking so long so i just ensured myself and to be honest i am glad i did it because now i finally got to leave i would probably be still waiting if i didnt pay the money probably
@The_Gift - sorry to keep adding to this feed, but just curious - I'm going thru an airport to get my TN - did you bring anything other than a copy of your license, the visa screen and your employment letter? Did you bring any copies of bank accounts or a lease - what did they ask for? Or what did they ask in general?
