Okay, so I have looked at a number of sites trying to find an online, distance learning LPN to RN program that is Title IV certified. The title IV part is essential because Financial Aid is the only way I am ever going to get my RN. Help?!?!?!

I don't know about Tile IV but www.excelsior.edu does do the usual financial aid stuff.

ec does not have the pell grants and the federal loan program. however, they do have payment plans..
And I am looking for a program that is eligible for both the grants and federal student loans. Does anyone know of a program that is??? I wish Excelsior were.
If you're an LPN why can't you take private loans and pay for it after graduation?
Because my credit is bad due to medical bills before I became an LPN and I just graduated in August so I am waist deep in loan repayment now. Plus private loans are at a way higher interest rate. Worse yet I am barely making enough to pay my bills as it satands. I basically am scraping by.
Gotcha.
Have the medical bills been settled or are they in default?
I would contact a not-for-profit loan consolidation company and ask if there's any way they can help.
Actually mid bankruptcy, but after that our credit will still be poopy and with 3 kids and a wage that barely makes the bills now, there is no way I can justify taking a loan at the rates that they would charge and frankly I paid for a good chunk of my education to date with federal grants through title IV. I need to be able to find a way to continue that trend.
Yeah, that's tough. Illness is expensive, girl.
Private scholarships? Have you gotten the book from the library? There's money out there if you dig.
