Tips for meds intake!

Hi fellows!

I'd like to know if there are tips when to give the patients his or her meds (before meal, after meal, at bedtime, empty etomach, and so on...

It depends on the type and purpose of medication. Some medications (such as metformin) should be administered with meals to minimize issues surrounding gastrointestinal upset issues whereas others (such as levothyroxine) need to be given on an empty stomach for optimal absorption.
