Hi all, I seemed to have missed a pen in my pocket when washing my scrubs that inevitably exploded in the washer/dryer and my ceil blue scrubs are resembling a rorschach test gone wrong. Unfortunately I have a manager who is very strict about dress code and wearing them as is is out of the question and I would very much prefer not to buy a full set of new scrubs.

Thanks for any and all tips! Willing to try (almost) anything ?

Wear black scrubs for ink, brown ones for coffee.

Seriously, I would also like to know if there's a method for removing ink stains.

My scrubs have been exposed to more writing implement than body fluid stains, CodeRed5!

Try rubbing alcohol. Don't dab it with a sponge; pour, scrub, pour, scrub. Soak it if necessary then scrub. Rinse thoroughly.

[Disclaimer: I don't know what it will do to colored scrubs but it sounds like you can't make things too much worse. Also: Not a fiber, chemical, or household safety expert. But maybe don't immediately throw your alcohol-soaked scrubs in your dryer and set your house on fire?]
