Tips on following up with nurse recruiter..

Hi everyone! If given a situation in which you were rejected by a job, is it still possible to reach out to the recruiter to know that you're interested in the organization and if she is willing to look at your other applications so there's a chance of getting another interview? I'm not sure how to word it properly to the recruiter without making it seem too direct so any tips on wording an email like that would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
