Time Served Regarding in Reserve to Active

I need help finding some info. Ive been looking on-line and on this web site and I was trying to find if Reserve time is equal to active duty time. My story is that Im in an ADN program and I got a year left from Jan. I know that if I join after I graduate and pass my NCLEX-RN that I will be 2nd Litentant in the army reserves. I know that after I get my BSN that im elgible to get the pay grade of Cpt or Maj( i forget which rank caps for BSN). Now if I join the army reserves now while im still in nursing school I should have at least 1 year service put into the reserves. I plan on working for a half year to 1 year to get experence as a civilian while being in the reserves so that should put me at 2.5 years in the reserves. After that I plan on going on getting my BSN and that's a 2 year program going full time. That should put me at 5.5 years served in the reserves after completing my BSN. If I transfer over the active duty after getting my BSN would that mean I would be awarded pay grade of Capt?

It must be influenced by the duration of time as licensed RN moreso than degree ADN, BSN or MSN.

I am in the application process now and am a year away from completing my generalist MSN/RN entry program and the highest I could rank upon graduation as a new entry RN is as 2nd LT. Unless of course my classmates decide to join too and list me as referring them, then it'd increase rank.

Just keep in mind that if you go reserves you may be working/deployed in a situation where going to school or taking classes on line is not possible. If your goal is to get a BSN and go active go straight for it other wise make sure your calender has flexibility.

Reserve time is not equal to Active Duty time. For further info from someone [me] that entered Army Reserve Nurse Nurse Corps as ADN, then entered AD three years later once completed RN-BSN program send me an email.
