Time frame for NC 3

Published

Hey everyone! I finally got my study guide for NC 3. I'm thinking about scheduling my exam for 3 weeks? Is this a acceptable time frame for an average amount of studying? I'll probably take the practice exams next week..

Just wondering what everyone else dedicated to this exam.

I studied for about 3.5 weeks for this one, roughly ... I took NC2 on 7/3 and took NC3 on 7/31. There's a wide variety of subject matter on this one, so it was kinda painful! But not terrible. :) I knew once I nailed the "needs of the childbearing family" material that I'd do just fine.

Yeah, the cultural, pain and sexuality seems to be common sense so far... I am ready to just be done with these things and would love to be able to take one about every 3-4 weeks!

I think that's a reasonable goal ... you'll probably find some exams easier than others, as I'm sure everyone does, based on learning/experience. For example, NC4 wasn't bad for me because medics have cardiac and respiratory drilled into us. :D
