Time Frame for the Board to approve license

I posted a thread about my recent experience with Maryland Board of Nursing. I do know they're scanner has been broken on and off the last few weeks so they had a pile up of applications. if everything on your application is right and they received all the documents it should be pretty fast took about 10 days for me. I would suggest registering for Pearson VUE ASAP so there's no hold up after your application is processed they will automatically send you your ATT.

Thank you for your response. My transcripts haven't been sent yet since my grade was just posted do you think I should call them to follow up?

I called every day from the time I seen they cashed my check. but they will tell you without your school sending the transcript that will be a hold up. stay on top of your school about that. my last day of school was on Feb.28th school did not send the transcripts until March 16

Two to four weeks after graduation is a reasonable amount of time to expect it, usually closer to two. Register with Pearson now. You do not need to wait until the BON has your final application paperwork.

I'd give it at least another week or two. Hundreds of people in your state just graduated nursing school and have to have all of their information processed. It takes time to do all that and calling them just slows down the process.

When did your school send verification that you graduated? I actually wouldn't wait to get in touch. I'd call now. As slow and disorganized as these people are, you need to make sure they have everything and haven't "lost" anything that magically reappears just because you called them. (That happens.)
