Time of Dedication....

Published

As Thanksgiving approaches, I am reminded of all the things that has happened to me and the people I have met and known through the yeaers that have molded me in what I am today. I would like to thank certain ones that have influenced my life. And this is what nursing is all about. Influencing and being influenced. It is all about people.

I want to thank my daughter who passed away in 95. She inspired me to keep going no matter how hard the road may get.

I want to thank my grandfather who passed away in 88. He instilled values in me that kept me from falling as temptations arose.

I want to thank a nurse that provided words of comfort as my daughter lay lifeless. Humanity can only be defined by the simplicity and sincereness that is in each one of us. God bless to all the nurses in the world.

That made me cry, but feel good too.

Thank you,
