Haven’t seen a forum for Spring 2022 applicants so I started one here ?
Hello everyone!
I'm here with a warning of DO NOT MAIL YOUR APPLICATION ON A Friday! I made that foolish mistake and they tried to deliver it to the school on a Saturday, said they couldn't and that they'd redeliver on the next business day, and now my application has been lost in the mail for two weeks with no answers from USPS. Take it from me, do NOT try to mail it out on a Friday!
Hey ladies! Firstly good luck to everyone applying! I sent mine in as soon as it opened for the Spring cohort. I applied to TCCs nursing program with intent for dual enrollment at ODU. All prerequisites and sciences are completed except micro. I took the HESI in may and got a 94.6 or something like that... GPA is 4.0. I tried hard to have these high numbers since I don't have any healthcare experience! Fingers crossed.
I also got a 93.43 LOL
If you go to the detailed score report for each exam it shows you the average score for that section of people that took the HESI this cycle and I guess set TCC as their school, as it's called "class average." It's technically not the 15th but we're close enough. Averages currently stand at....
A&P: 76
Bio: 74
Chemistry: 71
Vocab: 84
Grammar: 80
Reading Comp: 84
Math: 82
Putting the 50th percentile at 78.714 so 45th at like 75-76 points? Does that seem right?

Hey Everyone!
I completed my HESI exam and mailed off my application today. I am relieved to finally be at this point in my journey but so nervous at the sametime. I wanted a higher grade on my HESI exam. I got an 86.86%. I looked at threads from past cohorts and that seems to be enough but you never know, and that’s what worries me. >_< I wish the best of luck to everyone on this thread presently and in the future. Keep your fingers crossed and your spirits high! Countdown to October has officially begun!
