Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

I didn't get in as well as I don't think I'll apply again my letter marked I did meet the residency requirement, it would probably be useless since that isn't going to change  . I didn't know it would knock me out being accepted . Good luck and congrats to those that were .

You have to live in the tidewater/Hampton roads area . I live right across the border . Tidewater was just easy for me to go to than coa . I havent applied To coa yet because it's out of state tuition for me still because I just moved from Virginia to nc 8 months ago. I was hoping since I qualified for instate tuition it might this but nope . No body wants me hahaha  Oh well I kind of thought it might affect me but I didn't know it was a requirement t and with the already limited seats and competitiveness there's really no point in trying again there .

Well nothing again, and I even went to the post office. I called Alicia and she said they were mailed last Tuesday,  so she is going to contact the admissions committee to see if she could email the letter to me. She said hopefully they will get back to her today or tomorrow...

I hadn’t received anything also. I’m in Suffolk so maybe my mail is slower?? Although I’m already excepted in another program I can’t imagine how you feel... I pray you get in!

Thanks! It will be worth it if I get in,  but super disappointing if all of this is just to be told no...

I got in!!! Now I just have a tough decision to make; they didn't have enough advanced placement applicants to open a separate cohort so my options are to 1)enter in the regular track in January or 2)take all 3 challenge exams and then wait for an advance seat to open.
