Starting this thread for anyone applying for Fall 2022 at TCC.

I just got confirmation that once you get accepted to the program there is a Mid program HESI and an end-of-program HESI. They said this will help prepare for the NCLEX. LOL I just hate taking it again, but I already accepted the fact if I do get in.

Haven’t considered that . Would be nice !! This group isn’t as active compared to the previous cycles . I’m wondering if that means less people applied .

I'm in the day cohort so my schedule is Monday 8a-10a NSG 200 lecture (usually via Zoom), 1p-4p NSG 200 lab (in person); Tuesday 8a-noon NSG 106 lecture and lab combined (in person); Wednesday 9a-noon NSG 100 lecture (via Zoom, no lab for this class). NSG 130 is asynchronous aka done in your own time with no scheduled lecture/lab. There are 4 12-hour clinical days this semester; mine start in March and are on Thursdays from 630a-730p (1 hour for lunch) at Maryview.
Question ! How soon after your accepts letter did you find out the school schedule ?

Hoping the same thing that there’s less applicants. It would be so helpful if after the deadline they would announce HESI cutt off and number of applicants. When I looked at the schedule in the sis I think it should total of 60 seats open between the cohorts . I don’t know how many of those are reserved for return students

"mid program HESI and end of the program HESI" as in the same HESI we just took?
also I think 60 open seats (for new students) makes sense right?? ?

We started Jan 10 and some people didn’t have their schedule until a few days before. The earliest some people had their schedules was like 12/23. This program, as is (per my understanding) with most nursing programs, moves slowly. We had a general idea of what it might be by looking in SIS. first semester classes are NSG 100, 130, 200, and 106
financial aid does not cover testing fees fyi to whoever mentioned that.

I’ll have to keep an eye on the SIS on those classes then. That’s a bummer. I’ve got 3 little kids , was hoping to know my schedule ahead of time to figure childcare hours ??. This will be fun!! ??

Good to know! I was hoping the fees were covered. That's too bad. ??

You do the pants as long as they meet certain criteria (ie they're royal blue, not jogger style etc). The rest you have to buy from the bookstore
