Hi everybody. This forum is for friendly discussion for those who are applying to Tidewater community college's nursing program for fall 2021. Good luck!
Brianna...you make more as a Pharmacy Technician then a CNA does. Just so you know. Most places around here don't pay CNA's more than $13.75 and with no experience it is hard to find good jobs.
I don't understand why this program doesn't have a location at both VB campus and Portsmouth Campus. RNs are needed. If they accepted 60 each year and 60 at each campus...that would be 120 people. Chances would go up so much. They really need to reevaluate the program. I have come so far just to possibly get rejected:( I feel so worthless.
Also, how are you guys able to tell what is coming in your mail before you get your mail?
Sadly we do ? even being a CNA for 4 1/2 years I can't get most places to go over 14$ an hour (some places do, but they are hard to get into)....and we do most of the work. When I was working in assisted living, I knew my residents more then the LPN in charge did. It was sad.
I'll have to go look up this informed delivery:) thanks! I hope you get in girl! Best of luck to everyone! I've keep telling myself that it is in God's hands not mine!
