I woke up with a single cuss word when I looked at the clock. I feel stunned, not awake. It isn't exactly the gypsies, but my hips, thighs and knees are aching, and I am hopeful that my meds will calm things down.
Now it is time to get the Nannie-person up. Ugh. Tomorrow is the Chatty CG's day, which will be a nice break. I'm too zombified right now to 'talk' any more.
Later~
HAH! It isn't Wednesday, it is Thursday! I told you I was feeling stunned! CG came in (about 10 minutes late) and I said, "What are you doing here today?" which confused her; but we both checked our phones to see what day of the week it is, and it IS Thursday. She talked about 15 minutes straight, explaining about how she had to switch doctor's and the new office has messed up sending in her refills, and now she has been 5 days without them, and she is supposed to get them this afternoon. OY! I finally got up and went upstairs to get Nannie's breakfast tray and meds ready, and she switched over to being on her phone.
OK Nannie has had all her meds and breakfast, so now I have to go up to my room and REARRANGE MY HEAD!

G'day!
Had some trouble sleeping in the wee hours of the morning but must have fell back asleep. Got some good thunder around 3AM that started it. Yesterday it rained so hard and fast the streets all over the county were flooded. It doesn't flood in my neighborhood though but I was home and oblivious to people's misery. Lots of stalled cars.
Am saddened by our fellow poster VivaLasViejas's passing even though it was expected. She was my age and we had much in common but yet many differences. May she rest in peace.
Got warmer than usual, high 80s. Dh woke me up around 8:30 to ask me what time was I supposed to be "there"? Where? Didn't you have a meeting today? Uh, yeah, right now! I leapt out of bed, threw on jeans and a t-shirt and went to meet with the director of the Food Bank. She is going to have a trivia game for their annual BBQ for the volunteers. I offered to help her set it up and craft questions. Then I stopped at the credit union to replace my lost debit card.
Home to do a short jog, but it was already heating up. I got the green beans picked, and did some watering. then I ended up inside, sorting through some old papers, and located the dogs' records to take to the vet tomorrow. I'm getting their shots up to date, and getting them microchipped. dh left the gate open this weekend and they crossed our busy street and ran down the block. Thankfully, the little boy next door spotted them and his momma texted me, and then she was able to coax them back. Little boogers.
I should start painting the new doors and woodwork we had installed this Spring. And I've got to patch the end table and windowsill that little girl dog damaged. Too hot today, though. Too hot to cook. I think I'll make myself a wedge salad for dinner.

Tweety a day to reset and reflect is a good idea
Stars that's understandable, caregiving for someone with dementia can be very draining
TMB that sounds like a good idea
Thanks Dianah!
NJ22 wise to leave that environment, I think it's easy to overlook how a workplace can affect you
Again work was a bit crazy in the morning although things did quiet down by the afternoon. Was otherwise a quiet day, ran an errand and exercised
Today we have a meeting, which could complicate my schedule. We'll have to see how long it is and how much of my work I can get done despite it. Should be another quiet night
Have reflecting that a lot of anxiety and irritation for me comes when things don't happen like I think they should, especially with my job. Trying to be more flexible and willing to let go in those circumstances. That's also an important concept in mindfulness
Will be a bit warmer today, in the upper 80s, although I think by tomorrow it will be only in the upper 60s
