Work was good yesterday, not too much to do, no new cases, nothing unexpected.  Hoping this will continue, coworker who was off will be back today

After work went out and ran some errands.  Then spent a lot of time on the phone with tech support trying to get my old travel cell phone working again.  Since my regular cell phone doesn't work in rural areas I have 2nd cell phone that I use when travelling to those areas.  Like I will be doing when I visit my aunt in about 2 weeks.  However I haven't used in in so long that it had become inactive, and the process of getting it reactivated took about an hour.  

So I ended up missing about half the Ash Wednesday service, but went anyway to attend the remainder.  Small crowd, but it was raining and snowing so not unexpected

Tonight have a happy hour get together with the gay group

Weather will be colder today in the low 40s, though no snow or rain expected

When I woke up this morning at 10 AM, I MADE myself stay awake. Yes, I certainly would be able to sleep more if I closed my eyes, but getting up at 2 PM yesterday was AWFUL!  So I am trying to make a concerted effort to NOT miss out on hours I will lose if I continue to sleep late. Especially after Nannie starts her 'new' Senior Daycare schedule. I WANT that time for ME!

I have had my coffee and meds. I do have to do a lot today: the usual dishes, laundry, and trash collection; also the list for the errands to be run mean I will have to take Nannie out to sit in the car while I get milk, dog food, dish detergent, get my refills at the pharmacy, and go pay my phone bill. After I see how much the cell bill is going to go up in price, I can figure it into the automatic withdrawal payments so I don't have to keep making a trip over there.....I did it twice, and after that they stopped including a return envelope with the bill. Harumph! 

I'm going to get up and dressed (it is 11:40 AM), maybe be lucky enough to get the dishes done before I get Nannie up. Then once she is up I can restart the dryer and the washer. I can't do laundry when she is in bed sleeping, because the washer and dryer are in her 'bedroom'. That's another 'thing' that will be changing, I won't have to wait all morning before I can tackle the laundry, Before she moved to sleeping down there, that room was for sewing, laundry, etc.

Onward with the day, as what else is there to do?

Yo. I had lunch with oldest sis at Olive Garden. I really like their salad. It seems so simple, but think it's the dressing I like. The soup was too thick and heavy for my taste. Anyhoo, she spent most of the time talking about have to replace her septic system. I did mention I hope she was considering taking prednisone. She was going to send a text through the portal with her questions. She's losing weight and I told her I was really concerned about that. She is down to 90 lb. 

Yesterday I worked at the demo gardens, pruning roses, and went to a safety meeting. I thought I had a group planned to help with pruning, but there was 1 no show, and 2 who did more talking than pruning. So myself and the little 80 year old who I normally volunteer with did what we could. Dh is going to come with me tomorrow to hopefully finish! 

It's a very nice day, and I want a nap!

G'day.

Busy day at work.  I signed up to work Sunday because they were short and no charge available.  I just realized that's when we lose an hour sleep.  Screw my life.  LOL

I just paid my Escrow account $1,000 because I don't have enough in to cover my rising homeowners/hurricane insurance policy due in May so I could use the overtime.
