Rain, and more rain, but that's OK because we were in a drought , so a good three-day soaker is much needed.
I woke up with the gypsies partying in my right lower back and hip, AND both knees. I guess it is the barometric pressure playing in my joints. Welp, I took my meds and applied Lidocaine patches on my knees, and a capsaicin wrap on my lower back and right hip. Hopefully, now the gypsies will calm down in a little while.
Just got a text from SiL that she will be coming over to get Nannie when she gets off work, around 3:15 PM. She will be taking Nannie over to their house, and I guess will bring her back after supper.I didn't know she was planning to do that today, so it is a nice and WELCOME news! Whew! I can go to the grocery store for a few items.
It is almost time to get Nannie up, so I am going to get MY clothes on and go downstairs to start in on her.
Later, y'all!

I ended up having to wait for the Wally World Pharmacy to fill Nannie's Mirtazipine, and they were REALLY busy, so I just did my shopping while I was waiting. The whole store was busy! I treated myself to 3 books and 2 magazines, feeding my addiction to printed words.? When I finally left there, after nearly 2 + 1/2 hours ? decided to stop at Taco Bell. I wanted the Dorito shells; didn't get'em, but I didn't find out my tacos were in the plain shell until I opened 'em up when I got home. No biggy, but I would've preferred the other. Live and Learn. At least my hunger has been taken care of.
When SiL was trying to leave, earlier today, her car got stuck in the back yard and it made a really big mess of the lawn, which was SOGGY. I drove her and Nannie to SiL's house. I personally don't care that part of the lawn is deeply gouged by tires and all mushed up; they said they will fix it, but since it is going to be raining for another 3-4 days, there is certainly no rush! BiL and SiL brought Nannie home and BiL got the car freed without any difficulty (hauled it out using his truck).
Me, I am just waiting out the next hour and a half until it is Nannie's bedtime!

Another fairly quiet day at work. A little bit of chaos in the morning but other than that fairly calm. Did some training to help out with a new project, not something that will be part of my regular schedule but to help out when I can. Had a little time during the day to start the laundry
Afterwards did the grocery shopping, with a stop at the library and pharmacy. Was raining but thankfully only light rain
