Work was pretty good yesterday, no new cases and nothing unexpected.  Though I had this strange anxiety through most of the day.  Eventually took a half Xanax and it faded, but odd, as generally I've had anxiety under good control recently

After work drove down to a dinner meet for the over 50 group.  Was OK.  Rest of the day night pretty quiet

Today have a brief Zoom meeting after work with one of my groups.  Then will relax, as I have Friday off

Will be in the upper 40s today, thankfully no rain

Today's weather emoji is a dark cloud with a fat little lightning strike emerging from it. Then it says 64% chance of rain..... after about 4 PM.

I am awake but felt at first like I had taken more than the half-tab of Xanax that I took last night. Groggy! Made myself a large cup of coffee and took my meds. Still have aches and pains in my hips, thighs, and knees, so I am waiting for the arthritis meds to kick in.

Chatty CG is supposed to be here around 1 PM. I need to get my nails seen to, but as usual I am reluctant to do too much of anything, whether I need to or not. And I have two piles of clean, dry, folded clothes to put away. Plus it is Thursday, so that means all the trash goes out into the bins and to the end of the driveway for tomorrow's pick-up. I will have to get dressed shortly and get Nannie up by 1 PM. 

I have nothing good to add, so I will stop now and pout. 🤐😶

Good morning. I still have sniffles and cough, and stuffy head. So tired. The dogs were up in the night barking at the door. I let them out, and they continued to bark, probably at deer. Then they wouldn't come in, and I made the neighbor's dog start barking at me. Jeez louise. 

Today may be up to 60. may go for a walk, but I just want to sleep. 

Is it weird that I like to buy shoes? although I've really cut back. Now I mostly get athletic type shoes, which actually come in sizes that fit my short, wide feet. I'm debating about whether to get some new walking shoes for Europe. 

All y'all talking about food reminds me I have no appetite. I had a handful of saltines and tea for dinner last night, and a Costco croissant and coffee this morning. None of which tasted good.

Me!  I like shoes!  I certainly have "enough" shoes, but I am always looking for that one pair that I don't have, LOL!  I like to get ones that 1. are comfortable and 2. look good with dapper outfits we wear when we go to Disneyland.  So, yeah, you are not alone.  Hope you feel better soon.

I did two loads of laundry, then met my friend and we walked from 5-6:15, from her place, in and around the neighborhood.  Lovely homes, and we passed one area that had TONS of night-blooming jasmine -- the aroma was intoxicating!  Saw a nice sunset.  I was going to stop by on my way home, for some groceries, but decided to shop tomorrow.  We will eat soon then relax.
