Work was busier than expected, with a bunch of documents to review and a new case.  Had to work right up until the time I left.  Thinking today should be easier

Felt better yesterday, mostly normal for much of the day.  So I decided not to take any medication at bedtime.  During the day I just used alternative stuff like peppermint oil

Which was a mistake was only asleep an hour or two and symptoms returned.  Took a half dose of medication, slept for a few hours, more symptoms so took another half dose and slept some more.  Will have to remember to take a full dose before bed

Today so far I am feeling pretty good, appetite is increasing, no symptoms and have not taken any additional medication.  Am eating the traditional bland diet...applesauce, decaf tea, oatmeal, white bread, rice, etc...though I still need to pick up bananas.  Will keep monitoring but if I don't see continued improvement I will have to outreach the doctor

Nothing really unusual going on today or tomorrow which is good. Think it will be warmer today, perhaps up to 80 or low 80s

Joe, I hope your symptoms ease up, and finally disappear altogether.  And, that work is tolerable, especially when you are not 100% YOU.

No Stars, I hope you had some relief today, that the CCG showed up and did her job!

Yay, the water heater is FIXED!  Apparently the thermostat went out, so repairman replaced it, then, as long as he was here, he drained it (to get rid of sediment).  Well, it sure didn't have a lot of sediment (it's 12 yr old), as we have a whole-house water filtration system, which filters the water BEFORE it goes into the water heater or the house.  So, he said it should last another 12 yr, at least!  Our previous water heater worked for 35 years, and then we replaced it because it couldn't keep up with a family of four.  Well, now there is just the two of us, and it's keeping up quite well, thankyouverymuch!

Dh took a nap this afternoon and I did a couple errands.  I want to make pizza tonight.  I will use dh's naan (bought at the grocery store) for his, and I will make a crustless one for me.  I have tomatoes and bell pepper and sauces and mushrooms and cheeses, for toppings.   Looking forward to it!

Joe, sorry to hear of your ongoing issues.

Dianah, glad your water heater is up and running.

Today was busy as there was no secretary and I was in charge so I am expected to be secretary.  Luckily I had no patient assignment.  They have some techs in training to cover times when there is no secretary scheduled.  Bleh

Felt so washed out and by the end of the day I was losing my voice so on the way out I told them I was calling out for tomorrow.  I just need some rest and to stop talking.  First call out in about two years so I'm due.  Will feel better with some rest.

Got most of my errands taken care of, except I will wait to pick up a refill that's ready, because it's in the opposite direction from where I went today.....which was the KIA dealership. Had an inspection and an oil change. I have to get my front brakes seen to before I get the alignment done; probably will see if they can do the brakes next Thursday, because I already have an appt on that day (for the alignment, which might have to be done another day.) They quoted me $300 for the brake job, but it'll be the day after I get my SS check, so I can do it. (But, jeeeeze, I hate to have to spend hundreds of bucks. Could be worse though.)

SiL came by to pay Chatty CG just as I came back from my errands, but since she had a bad headache I told her I would take the check in and she should go home and REST! I did have to look at the check they gave Chatty CG for her 6 hour Thursday shift! It was for $75. So, how many hours have I put in in the past 2-3 years?  🤔  Gimme $75 per day and I will be rich in short order.  🤨 Yuh, right, like that's going to happen! 

I keep thinking (for the last several days) that there was something else I wanted to say or tell y'all, but it keeps slipping away. Oh well! Maybe it will Spring to the forefront of my mind.....maybe!

45 minutes until Nannie goes to bed!!!!! 😴 My FAVORITE time of day/night!
