Thanks! Do you have any advice for us that are starting at south? What should we really concentrate on? Does the program get less krazy after the first semester? Where you working while in the program?

Does anyone know if they switched our scrubs from the Peaches brand they were selling at the bookstore? I heard they changed to the cheerokee brand royal blue kind...

Yes they did. I got mine from the bookstore already and they are cherokee.

Does anyone know what our hours will be during clinicals?? will we actually have a 12 hour days. I'm trying to figure out how I should schedule my work hours

From what I gathered from a current nursing student, they do use the 12 hours available to do the clinicals.... the days they get out earlier are unannounced and rare.

Hey, Does anyone know if we have to buy the scrub tops from broward or can we buy any cherokee (royal blue) tops from anywhere? Are the ones sold in the bookstore the same as the generic cherokee tops or do they have like a sewn on monagram or anything special?

The tops say Broward College RN Program Nursing Student on the front of it.
