Hello, is there anyone going to South Campus for the Nursing program in January. Congrats to everyone :nurse::anpom:

Hi there!!!

I am also going to South campus!!! :) It did not fill up like previous years, I heard from advising that only about half of students registered for the max seats they have at south...which may be a good thing for us! I'm assuming we are all in carter smith class for nurs proc I ...? Looking forward to meeting you all in person in Jan! :nurse:

Yes, I bought the Fundamental Success book, the Perry and Potter Fundamentals of Nursing and clinical companion, I also just bought the Pharm for nurses book... I bought some flash cards from barnes and noble called Pharm Flash!... I am reading chapters here and there from the Perry and Potter and the Pharm for nurses just to get familiar with some of the material so it wont be so overwhelming in Jan. I heard from a friend in the program that started in Aug 2010 that J. c-s is a great teacher to have :)

Does anyone have a syllabus (from a previous semester or know someone to ask) for pharmacology so we know what chapters are good to read to get prepared for next semester?

For perry and potter--- first few chapters the South campus nursing program read for aug 2010, were ch 1-3, 6, 39, 34, 32(most important bc its vital signs chapter), 15-20,... can't remember the rest!...But i know you have to read 25 chapters (half the book) from jan- march.

Hello, Everyone. I am planning on going tomorrow to drop off the documents at South Campus. I heard that for those that have Financial Aid you can not buy the books and supplies until Dec. 6. Is this true?

Yea my sister started in Aug 2010 at south campus, and she too said J. C-S is a great teacher thats why i chose her. Also I do have the syllabus from my sister for process I, but its a hard copy. I can email you the chapters to read for the 1st test....theres alot! Let me know.
