THR Nurse Residency October 2018

The THR nurse residency applications opened today, so I wanted to start a thread so we can chat about it here.

What did you all apply to? And which have started rejecting? My ICU for the Southwest location says interview to be scheduled. My neuro ICU for Ft Worth and ICU for Arlington say in review process and my CCU app for Arlington says forwarded to hiring manager. My ICU apps for Dallas and Plano still say considering.

I've been rejected from ED (Fort Worth), oncology (Fort Worth), PCU (Southwest and Fort Worth). I have interviews with acute med surg, acute medical, renal transplant, and orthopedics (all Fort Worth). Application is in review for ED (southwest), med surg PCU (Fort Worth), telemetry (southwest), and trauma med surg (Fort Worth). Forwarded to hiring manager is telemetry (Fort Worth). Subacute ICU at southwest still says considering.

Is anyone familiar on how the interviews are? & how many they accept per position?

Interviews are panel format with 4-5 people. They ask a combo of can questions (typical interview stuff like strengths and weaknesses) and also clinical type questions. It takes about 30 mins with 7-8 questions. Not sure how many get hired. I'm in an evening weekend program and they took like 4 of our people from last year.

JK. I see that you posted them earlier. I still have one that says interview to be scheduled but no one has actually contacted me to schedule it lol

That's good though! They'll certainly be in touch. The rest of my applications have kind of frozen since friday, so I'm not sure if they're just swamped or what.

Interviews for Southwest & Plano ED's & Dallas ED says my app is in review process. Do y'all have any idea when in October the residency may start?
