I have an interview with the Abrazo West Valley hospital soon for an RN position. I dont know anything about the Abrazo system because I'm from out of state. Can anyone tell me anything about the reputation of the company? Pay for RNs with experience?
Thanks in advance!

I am also new to the area but see an awful lot of job postings from Abrazo. That almost makes me wonder why they have so many openings. Also, the agency that I signed up for staffs Abrazo frequently...
Yeah, I haven't even moved to the area yet. I wanted to secure a job first. But Im skeptical about accepting a job (if I'm offered) somewhere without having any info about the company. I'm really excited to move to AZ though so I hope it works out.

I was wondering if you ever got any feedback on this, or if you ended up taking a job with abrazo and/or ended up moving to Phoenix? I am flying to Phoenix (I currently live in Saint Louis, MO) for some interviews this Tuesday, and was hoping to find out some information about the company, the hospitals, and the area. I am a CVICU RN with ~ 3.5 years in. Thanks !
Hi I did accept the position with the hospital but didn't stay very long. I left during the orientation period. The hospital seemed nice but I didn't like the fact that there was still some paper charting going on.
It seems that in this area the for profit hospitals aren't very good. I would look into the nonprofit hospitals if I were you. People seem to love the Banner facilities. I've worked at one of the Scottsdale hospitals and I absolutely love it. Scottsdale Shea and Osborn are both magnet facilities and pay very well. If you work nights the shift diff is 6.50 and there's also a weekend diff of 1.20.
All in all I would just steer clear of the for profits of I were you.
