Those of you who work 12 hour shifts....

....do you get paid for 12 hours or 11.5 hours and they take out 30 min for lunch? I have worked 12 hour shift jobs before (non-nursing) and they did this and I am just wondering what to expect as a nurse working 12 hours shifts.

I work 7 to 7 and they deduct 45 mins for lunch, so we get paid 11.25 hours.
