Those who applied for RETAKE ALL(Batch June 2006)

Helo everyone..recently I waived my licence, and though it was a big decision, I strongly believe that this decision is for my future and nevertheless with the help of fervent prayers and reading the books will all pass.. I just want to ask if you guys enrolled any any review centers? Are you going to attend the free nursing review offered to us retakers?any hints on bookd to read?...Lets all pray that will pass this June..ThNX....

I they fail the exam. would that mean they cannot go to the US anymore?

Yes, because CGFNS wont give the VSC to our batchmates if they fail to pass the partial retake, which is 3nd5.

or they can if they retake the whole thing by december?

They can retake the whole thing by December, waiving theyre licence like what we did.

i have decided to retake the whole examination but i am just curious for the sake of my batchmates who will retake only 3n5 this june 11.

yes, they still can as long as they waive their license and retake the whole thing in december.

Finally, the exams are over! I re-took the entire thing, tests 1 to 5, and I feel great... except for test 2, I guess. It was hard, last year I got the highest score in that part, maybe this year it'll be my lowest, but I think I'll make it.

I read something from inquirer.net:

"Earlier, CGFNS came out with a policy limiting the issuance of visas only to Filipino 2006 nursing board passers who took and passed a re-take of the nursing licensure tests particularly Tests 3 and 5."

What does it mean? I visited the CGFNS Web Site, and I couldn't find this announcement. I'm getting worried, most of my friends took only tests 3 and 5...

It means that without retaking and passing tests 3 and 5, the June 2006 NLE passers won't be given a visa screen certificate by CGFNS.

Besides, in essence, you no longer belong to the June 2006 batch as you have waived your license already and so it should not concern you anymore.
