Does anyone know of if Thorek Memorial Hospital hires new grads? I saw on their website that they want 2 years experience, but do you know if they make any exceptions?

Hi!
I'm a new graduate, and just passed NCLEX! I've applied to Thorek and their site asked for minimum of 2 years experience. I applied online but haven't gotten a response from them. I know they probably get high volumes of calls into the HR office, so what should I do to increase my chances of getting hired?
Thanks!

I know that this is a rather old thread, but it appeared to me that Thorek hired new grads left and right. For a while there, they were pretty much the only hospital hiring at all during the big freeze of 09. I've heard that they are running a huge deficit and are cutting staff like crazy. There has been a huge exodus of RNs, both staff and managers, in waves, like every three months. At this point, I doubt Thorek is hiring, according to my sources.

I just got an interview there and I am very excited. This is my first hospital interview, it is for Staff RN and she told me they are in need of tele and med surg nurses. FINALLY. I currently work in a Dr.'s office and an ambulatory surg center.
For those who said they work at Thorek, how do you like it?
