Hi, I was just accepted to Thomas Jefferson University's ASN-BSN program for the Fall of 2009 . I'm just looking to communicate with others who have also been accepted.

Hi. This is actually my first post and I had a quick question concerning my NET scores. When i went to take the NETs, the instructor told us we needed at least a 70 in reading and math separately to be considered for admissions into jefferson. In a pamphlet I read, it stated there is no minimum score for the NET however scores of 70 or higher are competitive, also I'm unsure if they mean 70 by composite score or separetly. I scored a 93 on my math section but a 58 on my reading section. composite score of 76%. I'm really scared that my reading score will cause me to not be considered but I have nothing to compare it to with all of this information that contradicts eachother. Any information would be fantastic. Thanks guys and girls!

They will choose the students with the better scores. There are hundreds of students with really good G.P.A's and NET test scores so that's why they say you need to have at least a 70 (IN BOTH MATH AND READING) in order to compete with those other students.

Yeah, when I took the net on the 14th the girl giving the test basically said it doesn't matter if you score really high in one section and do bad in the other, they want at least a 70 in math and at least a 70 in reading to be considered. If you score below a 70 in one section you should take the test again. However, you can always call the school to clarify this. I've called them a few times to ask questions and they always seem very nice and helpful. Does anyone know if the class is full yet or how many students they accept all together? I finally got my NET scores in the mail today, so I'm still waiting to hear whether I got in or not.
Got my net scores! math 100 english 80. Really wanted to go for the fall of 2009 but I didnt get all my financial aid ready by the deadline (May 1st) any advice? Or am I better off being well prepared for the next time?

Admissions Review Period Dates Admission to the College is on a rolling basis and is divided into the Admissions Review Periods outlined below. To be reviewed for a particular period, all application materials must be postmarked by the inidicated date and should be submitted together in a single envelope.Preference is given to complete applications that meet the postmark dates; however, we will accept applications as long as space is available, but no later than April 1st for pre-fall, July 15th for fall, and November 15th for spring terms. All students who meet the postmark date for the review period will have the same chance of earning acceptance to their respective program regardless of whether the application was received at the beginning or the end of the review period.
I reread this just to make sure it didn't sound contradictory. Am I the only one who thinks it still does?
Basically they accept students until the class is full. Our orientation is next week so my advice would be to get all your info together and get ready to apply right after the semester begins. Good luck!

Question to accepted student; what is your class schedule like? is evening /weekend a option...the website is lacking...if not what is a example class times? any info is appreciated
evening and weekend is not an option in the asn-bsn program. usually all nursing scools are day programs if there is no indication of time. we will have clinicals on mon & tues, and full days on thursdays
Oh so its 3 days a week..at least to begin with? basicly free weekends (till major clincals later maybe) but not a 5 days a week ? sorry for my ignorance..im so use to night/weekend classes i dont want to waste a application fee if i cant do the program.... though i want to do it...
well okay i left something out (i'm sorry) on wednesdays, if you have any micro, a&p, english or other required classes to take, they have to be taken on wednesday's. and our friday's have to be open for tests, or scheduled labs, if any they will notify us ahead of time.
question for the students...do you work? full time part time? any children? if so is it doable?
