My application was completed September 11th, and obviously I haven't heard anything yet.

GOOD LUCK Everyone!!!

Did my interview last week and received my acceptance email yesterday too!!! So excited!! We should make a facebook group to start talking and knowing each other.

I created the facebook group: Jefferson College of Nuring FACT 1 Year program Class of 2016

How long did it take everyone to get verified on NursingCAS? I submitted my application over a week ago and am still waiting for verification.

I am so happy for everyone that was accepted! I have my interview 11/19. Stats are 4.0 in prerequisites, 3.5 undergraduate GPA, have a masters in clinical psych. Hopefully I will be seeing you all in May!

I think it takes a couple weeks, but you can always try emailing or calling them!

I applied to the program in mid-october, but the person writing my LOR took longer than expected. I got an invitation to interview in early november but wasn't able to schedule a time until early december since i have to fly to philly. Can anyone give more detail as to what to expect at the interview?? All i was told is that it's with other people but basically nothing else!

Hey there!

I interviewed on November 19th and found out that I was accepted this past Tuesday. Jacqueline Hane interviewed me and three other prospective students - she was very kind, accommodating, and had an understanding that most of us were nervous. As far as the interview goes, it's pretty standard - she asked about our strengths, our weaknesses, why nursing, why Jefferson, and asked each of us a different question, which ranged from why professionalism in nursing is important, speaking of a time in which we had to deal with a difficult person, and a time when we had to ask for help. She also provided us an opportunity to ask questions of our own and then met with each of us individually about our pre-requisites.

I was a little upset that they did not offer us a tour of the clinical facilities at the interview, but she did mention that we could return at our leisure for one of their regularly scheduled tours.

I am really torn about what program I am going to select, because I was also accepted to West Chester's Advance 2 BSN program...something about Jefferson rubs me the wrong way; their program is larger, I have not read good reviews in terms of its overall organization and structure, etc. Jacqueline told us that there are 128 seats in the cohort - not sure how many have already been accepted.M

My advice to you is be confident - Jacqueline was a skilled interviewer and seemed difficult to impress. I'm sure you will be fine, though! Best of luck.

First of all, congrats on getting two acceptances! If I were in your position... I would honestly go with WCU. I went there for my undergrad its a great school. But you also have to think about your schedule & the time table you were hoping to get your BSN... WCU's program is longer. I also heard negative things about Jefferson's program. I too felt something was "off" with Jeff's program when I went there for their open house/info session... I never accepted the interview invitation because I had already had gotten accepted to Villanova. A lot of current students are unhappy with Jefferson's program, so I've heard. They are changing the curriculum for the upcoming cohort so nothing will be the same. I just sent in my deposit for Villanova's accelerated ban express and I'm super excited. Comparing Jeff & Nova...I liked Villanova's 14 months vs Jeff's 12 months... their faculty was incredibly nice and i felt like they WANTED me there... with villanova you get breaks (winter & spring break & holidays).. passing mark is 73 vs Jeff's 77...automatically accepted to masters with no expiration...I spoke to many current bsn express students & they are having the best experience of their lives. Those all were major deciding factors for me. You just got to go with your gut, do your research, and do what has the MOST PROS for you and your lifestyle. GOOD LUCK deciding! I was very torn as well in my decision process but it will become clear to you... let me know if can help!

just paid my enrollment deposit today! i joined the facebook group too, kind of strange there there's less than 30 members there when there will eventually be 120+ of us. good luck everyone!

I actually just submitted my application right now. I have been wanting to apply since last September... Now I'm scared the class is full... But the deadline is still February 15th so I'm good in terms of deadline.

Do you guys know if they do phone/online interviews. I'm in California so it's a little far for me to go in person. Hopefully they give me an interview.

Fingers crossed!

Also, do you guys understand the dual admission process. If we are accepted- we get into both ABSN and MSN program (regardless of what specialty?)
