Thomas Jefferson FACT Program

Published

Hi.

I have been accepted into the TJU FACT program that begins in May but the orientation isn't until a week before classes begin and I would like to get a better idea of the scheduling. I know it's 5 days a week but does anyone have some more specific info? i have to arrange for child care and transportation and a general idea of the class/clinical hours would be helpful.

also...anyone else out there starting the program with me in May?

I've also applied for the 2010 FACT Class. Does anyone know if volunteer experience is expected as well? Does that play a big factor in getting accepted?

Hello,

I've also applied for the 2010 fact program and am just waiting to hear back from them. I had the interview which was not as bad as I thought it would be. Has anyone already been accepted? The wait is so nerve wrecking! good luck to all of you!

Congrats on getting scheduled an interview.

I'm still waiting to hear to see if i'm getting an interview....I hope it happens soon...I'm so anxious.

Hey there! I'm also waiting to hear back from them. My interview was last week and it was not that bad at all. Good luck everyone!! :-)

I just had my interview yesterday and it looks like we'll start hearing in a week or two weeks.

That seems like a looong time from now. I've been literally checking my email on the hour every day. Thanks for the update, Lindo!

another 1-2 weeks? I'm so anxious! I run downstairs whenever I hear the mailman. Did you guys get the email about the financial aid workshop? will you be attending?

I just got an email!!!! I've been accepted!!! So i guess emails come first, then your snail mail acceptance will come, and then there is a list of forms that need to be filled out and completed.

I bet May will be here before we know it!

Congrats, Lindo! I found out today that I have been accepted as well!!! I am so excited!! I am waiting to hear back from some other schools I applied to (won't hear from them about an interview until December), but I have a feeling that I will be back in Philly again :)

Yay! Congrats to you, MPH girl. Keep us posted on what you choose. I'd love to meet all of you at welcome day/accepted students day (i feel like I've seen other posts from previous years about such things!!!)

It's so exciting to start a new adventure and I'd love for us to all do it together!

Congratulations guys! I also have gotten accepted!! So exciting! Can't wait to start! Yes! we should meet at the orientation and try to set up a solid support group for the coming year!

A study group sounds like a fabulous idea. We're all going to need each other to get through this coming year. I'm so excited for all of us!
