Thomas Jefferson FACT-1 2018 (Center City)

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi all!

Just wanted to start a forum for TJU FACT-1 or 2 applicants to the Center City location. I submitted my app August 10 and had my interview yesterday. Feel free to contribute and ask questions! Let's help each other out during this stressful process : )

Hey guys. I want to rent out my entire place since I've gotten accepted to 3 schools and thinking of going to Holy Family University instead. I'm not planning on working since how rigorous the acelerated program is. So I'll give up my seat from Jeff. It's a far commute from HFU so I'm moving in with my sister in NJ

I have a rowhouse/townhouse: 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths with basement, 1 car garage/driveway. It's in the dead end with a park in front of the house. Lots of parking and empty spaces. Safe neighborhood. I live here about 9 years. Currently I live by myself with a dog(he's a small Yorkie)

I think it's about 10-12 miles from Jeff. A little bit far but parking isn't a problem since I know we go to different sites for clinicals and don't have many class days at school. Location is in S/SW Philly around Lindbergh/Island ave and 74th st. Very close to Usciences and Penn (I'm currently work at Presby). Place is furnished. Have all appliances and beds in all 3 rooms. I'm looking at $550-700 per room including all utilities if shared between 3 ppl. Message me if u want more details/pics/info or check out the place. Prices are negotiable if you want to rent out the entire place (thinking about $1300).

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone had experience being accepted after completing their prerequisites and what grades they earned.

I interviewed in February and received and email shortly after stating "Thank you for recently completing your interview for the FACT program. We enjoyed having you on campus. Before we render a formal admission decision, the admission committee would like to review the results of your spring semester courses".

I am wondering what my chances are at this point. I currently have and A in Anatomy and Physiology I, and a B in Nutrition.

Thanks!

Hi everyone! Looking to apply to the ABSN program for 2019. Would love to hear stats from people who were accepted. I have a low undergrad GPA of 3.157 from 2008 (when I stupidly didn't take college seriously and unsure what career path I wanted to do) but currently hold a 3.85 pre-requisites GPA so wanted to know before I apply. Any information would be great! Thank you so much and good luck with the program!

hey everyone! I just got offered an interview for the center city campus! I am super nervous! Can someone help me out and share some tips? Thanks :)

Hey guys! As mentioned earlier, I was accepted to FACT 1 for 2018. Due to extremely family reasons, I had to defer to next May. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what the program is like so far. Also, what are choices are living situations during the program? I assume living not on campus will be extremely expensive since its the city. However, I doubt they have year round housing available for us on campus. Thanks in advance!

Can you tell me how long it took? I've been waiting on the interview email and my application was completed sept 4.

CAC18. HI. Just found this thread. Im in the application stages and have the same stats as you have posted previosly in this thread. Can you share how things turned out for any other nursing programs ? Did you receive acceptance into any of the PA area BSN programs? I have a 2.7 undergrad and 3.8 prerequisite gpa, not sure if Ill get in anywhere.

Hey,

I started a thread for Fact a day or two ago beginning in 2019 if you wanna post there!
