Didn't see a thread for the May 2024 Cohort yet so I wanted to make one.
I just interviewed and am awaiting a decision. Has anyone been accepted/denied yet?

Hello Bryan, how do you suggest we prepare ourselves? Any tips or tricks you mind sharing? Study habits? Schedule setups? Time management tricks? Etc?

Hi, I highly recommend waiting until the program start, trust me, you will find the best way that it's unique to your learning style. Each cohort is different, your schedule will most likely be different. Once in the program, make sure that you review all your information at least couple of times, the instructors are very helpful, they will help you too. Lastly, make a general calendar and put all your assignments, activities, work schedule and everything that you need to get done in a day and week.
Thank you,
Bryan
Hi everyone!
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted into the nursing program at TESU! I have applied and spoke with the advisor for the Winter start date. How long did it take for everyone to hear back in regard to their application? I did not know anything about an interview until reading this thread so I am now a little anxious I may need to do that.
Hi Britt1497,
I am in the Fall 2024 cohort. I applied in June, and I heard back within a week or two. I did not have to do an interview. Goodluck! And please feel free to ask anymore questions. I don't know a ton yet, but we have our orientation on Aug 6th and will probably learn a lot then.

Hi, I applied for the fall of 2024 cohort however I'm thinking of deferment until the Winter. I applied end of June and was accepted mid July so a couple of weeks and I was notified via email. No interview.

Thank you for your response and your insight. After you were accepted what item checklists did you have to complete? I know the first step is to submit a $500 deposit but what else? Background check? Physical exam? Anything else? Also did Financial aid send you a breakdown of the tuition cost per term along with any grants, loans or scholarships that you qualified for? Did they send you a financial aid package/award ?And if so, how long after your acceptance did they send it? I'm kind of crunched for time and I'm unsure if I should enter into the fall cohort without knowing my financial obligation or just defer until the Winter cohort.
Hello Everyone,
I first want to congratulate everyone on their admission into the program! I want to get accepted into the ABSN program too, I already have a bachelors too. I just finished my prerequisites and sent my transcripts that they received on Monday, but it's still not reflected in the system. How long did you all have to wait for your transferred grades to be accepted?

Hi PeepBri Lewis,
I also got in without interviewing. And also thought it was a little strange. I am not commuting from NY, but my commute is about 45 minutes from where I am in NJ. The commute is a large part of why I wanted a hybrid program.
