This may be a stupid question...

Hi Y'all.

I am currently in nursing school and will finish with an associates degree but plan to continue towards a bsn while I work. I know this is probably a stupid question, but do ADN-RN's and BSN-RN's take the same NCLEX-RN exam? Or do the BSN-RN's simply have more classes?

I just don't want to be limited in how I can care for people- I think down the road I will be a NP, but I want to work my way up. I agree with the last few posts about how doctors are probably unhappy. If you really think about it from a patient's point of view, how often do they actually get to see a doctor when they go to the hospital? What's appealing about a NP career is that they get more into the diagnosis part of patient care. But who knows- I may love being an RN so much that I wont want anything else.
