5 things a new RN must have...

I'm trying to decide if there is anything I need to go out and buy before I start my first job as a RN...

My list includes so far:

good shoes (I will look at Dansko's) & support hose

Is there anything you can't live without that you suggest for a new RN?

1. Thick skin

2. Large, infinately expandable bladder

3. Body that can be fueled by caffeine, chocolate bars, and cold pizza

4. 4 ears to hear all that is being thrown at you.

5. 6 hands, 4 legs and no desire for sleep to get it all done.

I'm also a newly licensed Nurse.... I passed it last april but im still here in the Philippines and planning to go to California in Sept....
