Share some awesome tips, tricks & pointers you've picked up on in class/clinical that may be new to you but not so new to others:
1. A medical assistant thats been on staff for 40 years has taught me more about basic nursing care than my first semester clinical instructor ever did. Never again will it take me all morning to complete total care on 3 patients. I don't know if its against the rules but I want to get her something to show my appreciation.
2. That you can cut a pill with a needle (we have a severe shortage of pill cutters). Not the most cost effective option, but when your pill cutters grow legs it helps.
3. How to do a fast but efficient assessment. A charge nurse taught me how. Helps so much now that I have multiple patients
