ThedaCare files lawsuit to keep employees from leaving for Ascension.

What do you think about this lawsuit keeping employees from accepting a better job offer. This doesn’t seem right. We are able to be let go for no reason, but cannot leave for a better role? We should be allowed to leave especially if we have unsafe staffing etc.

It's a typical double standard but luckily it was dismissed a few days later. Had it not it would have created a dangerous precedent. It's why I'm against the 2-week notice. If they don't give you a notice for being fired why should you do the same?
