The wind is out of my sails regarding PSB-PN entrance exam

i have waited so long to finally be able to begin nursing school. i'm 46 - waited for the kids to be self sufficient so i can go to school full time. i took business courses in high school - no science at all and no algebra. so i studied and studied for the entrance exam working mostly on algebra and fractions only to find that the exam was a cinch in math. it was the science i bombed. i studied tissue types, muscles, diseases, etc. it was the strangest science - supposedly 10th grade biology. so i guessed at all 90 questions.

after the entrance exam, all testers received a time and date for an interview. i would have just expected a letter in the mail saying i failed. is there anyone out there who failed the entrance exam but still got accepted? i'm keeping my fingers crossed because i'm really upset over it. i volunteer at my hospital on the nursing floor and i absolutely love it.
