I interviewed for a job two weeks ago today and I'm still waiting to hear anything. I called on Monday and was told they hadn't made a decision yet. It's making me go crazy waiting for my phone to ring and checking my email and my online application status multiple times a day!!! It's torturous.

I am on the same boat as you lol, I got an interview at a really nice hospital in the city and I thought the interview went really well...but its been about a week and I have yet to hear back from them...sigh...anyways good luck on your job search =)
Thanks! Good luck to you as well!
It's now been three weeks and I still haven't heard a thing! As of this afternoon my application status still said "currently in review". The gal I spoke to in HR a week and a half ago said "you should be hearing something soon either by phone with a job offer or by Internet if the position is filled with a different candidate. I don't want to call again and have her be like "I've already said you'd be hearing something soon." I'm realistic and am figuring I didn't get it but if that's the case than it would be nice to know!
And now I'm going to add to my vent!!
The other major hospital in my area is part of the Mayo Health System. I have applied to different open positions four times within the past year. I have also applied for other positions since moving down here 5 years ago and I have never gotten so much as a call for an interview!! I don't understand why I am overlooked time and time again. I have 10+ years experience, a phenomenal work history, I even have one of their practitioners listed as a reference and still nothing! I just applied again for a position in the family birthing center, it's the second time I've applied for a position up there this year. I found out a friend and old co-worker is working as a LPN in the birthing center and I have pretty much begged her to put in a referal with her unit manager for me. I don't know what else to do! I've thought about calling or emailing the HR dept. but I'm afraid I'll just become confrontational which really isn't going to help my case at all!!
