The Wait Begins... Any Other NVCC 2012 Hopefuls?

So, after a few years of pre-requisites and co-requisites and getting used to school again after a break for a few decades, I finally submitted my application for the Traditional program at NOVA.

I have a feeling this is going to be a loooong 5 or so months of waiting.

Anyone else apply/applying?

Hi everyone! Could somebody please tell me that where we go to clinical for NUR111? In the hospital? Can we choose the hospital near our house. I live in Leesburg and have kids. I need to know to plan ahead. Thanks so much.

You will find out during the orientation I would think.

The clinicals usually change every 6 weeks. In other words you go somewhere once a week for 6 weeks and the you go somewhere else for 6 weeks , etc. I live in Lovettsville so I understand your pain and I have kids and work! A girl I know that graduated from this program last May had clinicals at the the Virginia hospital center for one six week rotation I know.

According to BB, we might get our clinical assignments at orientation next week. So you might have some chance to plan after that. For all the semesters following the first we will register for our clinicals on a first come first serve basis. Registration for clinicals for semesters 2 through 4 will be done the same way we register for classes.
