How are things going? I am in Texas and plan to transfer from WCU to TU. I am super excited. If you all have a FB group; can I please join? Please send me a direct message if the FB group is closed.

All is well I just finished the term with a 4.0 so that's exciting! I start clinicals in the Summer.

Congrats! Are you doing the 18 mos or 24 mos? Do you know if your clinicals will be on weekends or during the week? 10-hr or 12-hr shifts?

LOL yea fyi guys don't let them lie to you! You do not get to chose your clincal site or your clinical hours. Preceptors are no longer allowed so all of your clinicals will be woth a cohort. We have clinicals 1 day a week and then two days a week and it reverses every week. They are 12 hours. They don't care if you can't move your schedule around the days they are not flexible like they say. We are currently doing nights from 7pm-730am.  Just be prepared for bs. They also wait til the last minute to gice you your schedules so you have no time to prepare. Good luck guys.

Hi, would yall be kind enough to share your stats when accepted? Example, GPA, experience, etc? Quite nervous because we were supposed to receive notice back today about acceptance for Spring 2026 but unfortunately, we haven't heard a thing! Nervous about being denied! Also, if you're still in the program.. how is it going for you all?

Hey Zharia,

I have applied for the Spring I 2026 absn through TU and I am wondering if you received your acceptance in October or November exactly? And if any of you have experience with the decision process, please share. Most were told decisions will release Oct 28th but I haven't heard anything. I'm trying to remain hopeful without worrying about the decision delay. I'd greatly appreciate any of your advice!
