Specializes in MICU.

Does anyone who got accepted in to the Tulsa CRNA program mine stating what they did to get it in?  CCRN is a must but did you take chem 1 , chem 2, organic chem, and statistics? That type of stuff. Thank you.

Hi- I am applying for 2026. I want to know how they verify your hours? Do they call your manager you list for the reference? Do they call HR? I feel like I need to give a heads up but don't know who to give it to.

I'm not entirely sure they 'verify' the hours. I know they did not call my references, but they did put weight on your letters of recommendation, one of which was required to be a manager during the last cycle.

I had chem 1 and 2, physics, statistics, and some higher math from another degree (calculus). They have a class in the first Summer semester that will get you up to speed on chemistry 1 and 2, organic chemistry, select biochemistry, and physics topics (buckle up if it's all new to you). You don't need a lot of prior experience to be successful, but it's certainly helpful from my experience. As far as I understood the admission process, GPA, experience, and letters of rec landed you an interview. For the interview, they had a separate rubric for ranking interview candidates.
