 I didn't see a topic for UTMB Spring 2025. How is everyone's application process going?

I applied for the 2025 Spring and submitted on the last day it was open since I was rushing to take the TEAS. The application cycle was extended from Spring to august 15 which was the day I applied. I think it will be a low chance of me getting in especially due to my GPA, what are your thoughts?

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.67

Science GPA: 3.625

TEAS: 91.3

Math: 97.1

Science: 90.9

Personally, I think you have a high chance of getting in. Your stats look good, they take a holistic approach when looking through applications so as long as your personal statement is good you should be good!

I think you have a good chance! Your stats are high, don't get discouraged with the wait time

I have a friend at UTMB who's in his 3rd semester, he told me this fall cohort that just started is the biggest class the school has had in a long time, if not the biggest, period. That could mean that they are accepting more students than usual, so maybe we will just be a big class and that is why they are taking so long.

I just applied to Cizik program, but doubt I'll have everything turned in on time, I should have contacted them again before assuming that the whole chemistry requirement was still the same as last time I spoke to them 😕

Hi friend! I had very similar stats and got in the first round. I think you're in a good position. 
Overall GPA: 3.47

Pre/Sci GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 91.3

From what I've seen they have a very holistic admissions process and place a heavy emphasis on your personal statement. Your stats look competitive. Good luck & don't lose hope!

I just got my acceptance email from Sam Houston SON so very excited about that. I'm still waiting on UTMB, I'm really praying for an answer soon. I'll probably accept at Sam for the meantime so that I do not lose that opportunity
